We spent the final 48 hours with Kai Cenat in New York as he prepared to put VIVET on the runway for the first time. As the show got closer, the pace kept changing. One minute everyone was joking around, the next the whole room was locked in and trying to get everything over the line.
When showtime arrived, Gio, Marlon, Ray, Duke Dennis, Burberry Erry and many more walked in VIVET’s New York Fashion Week debut. The mix of fashion, music, streaming and internet culture made sense because it felt true to the world Kai has built around him.
Behind The Outlander is our documentary series that goes behind the scenes with a creative and spends proper time inside their world. Each film looks at how they think, how they work and what life looks like around the moments everyone else gets to see.
For this film, that meant staying with Kai as VIVET went from a room full of plans to its first runway show.
