When we started dreaming up the celebrations around our debut print issue, Issue 01: The First Ever, we knew we wanted to do something unforgettable. Something big, something global, something that felt like Outlander. And honestly, none of it would have hit the way it did without Hennessy X.O riding shotgun with us the entire way. Three cities, three completely different vibes, and one iconic partner who understood the assignment every single time.

New York was where the madness began. Iron 23 became our playground for a night, and Hennessy X.O held it down as the sole liquor sponsor, which meant the cocktails were seriously flowing. We built the space like a choose your own adventure for grown ups, a VANS skate ramp sending boards flying through the room, Clover Mode setting up their now legendary chess matches, a Wheel of Fortune situation that people took far too seriously, live screen printing with KidSuper, and even a Marni pin up wall for those who appreciate a good fashion moment. It felt like walking through the inside of Outlander’s brain, chaotic in the best way.

And then came the ice cream. Yes, ice cream. We teamed up with Zen, Ye’s former private chef turned mastermind behind Beku, to craft a flavour inspired by the notes of Hennessy X.O. Imagine dessert that actually tastes like luxury but still feels fun. People were lining up for it like we were giving away secrets.

We closed the New York chapter with two custom artist commissions that reimagined the X.O bottle as sculptural pieces. They sat in the middle of the event like relics from some future museum, pulling people in all night. It was New York at its most electric.

Paris, on the other hand, was all about intimacy and atmosphere. We posted up at Pablo T Shirt Factory with Pablo Attal, one of the creatives featured in the issue, and kept things simple, warm, and perfectly Parisian. Hot Toddys and coffee were flowing, Chess by Clover Mode spilled out onto the street, and the city’s cool kids drifted in and out like it was their favorite neighborhood hangout. No pretense, just good conversation, design lovers linking up, and a shared excitement for the magazine.

By the time we made it to London, we were ready for something a little more personal. Decimo became the landing spot for our writers, artists, designers, and everyone who helped shape this first issue of Outlander. It was a proper dinner, multi course, intentionally crafted, and elevated with bespoke Hennessy cocktails that felt like a celebration in themselves. It was the calm after the chaos, the moment we all got to look around the table and breathe in what we had built.

Across all three cities, Hennessy did not just show up as a sponsor. They showed up as true collaborators, generous, creative, and completely game for the fun we wanted to bring into the world. This partnership felt less like a campaign and more like chemistry.

And if the energy from these first three events is any indication, you can expect a whole lot more from Hennessy x Outlander. We are just getting started.
